Meet Jen, our fabulous production manager and queen of everything behind-the-scenes at Show Your Spark.
Jen is part of how we make the magic happen. We believe we have one of the best villages around.
Exploring Boudoir Photography
Jen first found Show Your Spark in April 2019 when we began exploring boudoir photography for herself as a birthday present.
Looking around at several different boudoir photographers and their portfolios, Lindsay’s style attracted her. She had a wonderful experience, complete with hair and make-up by Michelle DeVoe. Amazed with how well the photos came out and encouraged by the comfortable atmosphere of the studio, she decided to return for a second Spark Session.
Match Made in Heaven
Her second session was more explorational, with a faux hawk created by Michelle. While in the chair, Lindsay began speaking about the studio’s growth and her need for a right-hand woman to assist with the behind-the-scenes. Immediately, Michelle and Jen volunteered Jen for the job!
It was a match made in heaven! Jen had 25 years of customer service working for a high-end custom furniture business and was excited to help fill in the gaps at Show Your Spark. Her skills are put to use on the mechanical aspects of the business as well as the creative brainstorming storming process always present in a photography studio.
It Takes A Village
Jen’s two main focuses are:
- Providing a luxury experience for each client.
- Placing artwork orders and managing the behind-the-scenes logistics.
A Luxurious Experience
Every time she enters the studio, she looks around and makes sure the studio is client-ready. She prepares the sets for the session, resets the lighting, and prepares the small details that make the entire experience feel luxurious for each client.
Once the sessions are completed and the artwork decisions have been made, Jen brings her expertise to the ordering process. She ensures the orders for our high-end custom artwork are perfectly placed.
“Our artwork is made by highly specialized Italian artisans. Each piece is completely unique. You won’t find these pieces at the store down the street!. My goal is to ensure that each client adores their artwork and has a piece that reminds them of their inner Spark and time in the studio.”

Organized and Creative
In addition to these two roles, Jen manages our internal communications and business workflow. She helps brainstorm creative ideas and brings them to life. The front bedroom scene is one of her made-from-scratch masterpieces!

The most unsung hero in the studio! She’s taking care of you before and after you enter the studio.

Her request? “If you have any ideas of what we can do with sets, or to improve the client experience, please let us know! We entertain all the ideas!! It’s all for YOU!”
