Loving Myself Without Fear
“After 40, I came to realize that I am my own critic. It doesn’t matter how people see me, but how I see myself. Therefore, I started to love myself for me and without fear. I started to trust myself without questioning myself. I needed me without demanding. I wanted me more without restricting myself. I accepted myself without any changes.”
“Fierce means strong, dominant, self-confident, self-sufficient, and capable of doing anything and everything.”
“In my life, I am most proud of learning how to love myself after the abuse.”
Letting Go of Past Traumas
“Since moving into this decade of life, I’ve learned how to completely let go of my past traumas, because, if you don’t let go of the pain and hurt that someone else caused you, you are allowing them to hurt you again in your mind.”
Feeling Beautiful at Every Chance
“I want others to know that to be a woman over forty means you are getting older, eventually our beauty fades, but having the knowledge and understanding of life lessons and its beauty, brings out another you at age 40 and older. Don’t be afraid to take that step every day to feel beautiful about yourself with every chance you get, even if it means doing it by yourself.”

“Being a part of a photography project highlighting the beauty and strength of women over forty means that I care about me, my worth, how I value myself, and how I see myself looking at me showing off those flaws.”
