SYS: Please tell us a little about who you are today, as a fierce woman after forty.
Denise: Courageous, calm, confident, blossoming, evolving, growing, and loved.
SYS: What does the word “fierce” mean to you?
Denise: Strong, powerful, knowing, giving, Empress.
SYS: What are you proud of yourself for having overcome in your life?
Denise: Diminishing my light for others… people pleasing.
SYS: What have you learned about yourself and life since entering your current decade of life?
Denise: Why didn’t I do this earlier? I have learned to unfurl non-beliefs and old programming to live a more authentic life.
SYS: What do you want others to know about what it means to be a woman over forty?
Denise: We’re better than wine. We are not intimidating. We are living our best life now and here because we know better now.
SYS: What does it mean to you to be a part of a photography project highlighting the beauty and strength of women over forty?
Denise: This is a unique, emboldened, and inviting one-of-a-kind opportunity that lets me live my brightest life for all to see.
SYS: Has anything changed for you since your Spark Experience and after seeing your photographs?
Denise: I stand up taller. I have my face to the sun. I’m a recovering people pleaser and this helps me give less f*cks. I love myself more. I live more authentically within my skin.
SYS: What do your Spark Session photographs say about you?
Denise: Passion, intensity, curiosity, sparkle, magnetic soul
SYS: What advice would you give to someone on the fence about booking their own Fierce After Forty Experience?
Denise: Call me! I will tell you everything you gain back internally for yourself with this project.
