When we first launched our Fierce After Forty Project in 2023, we envisioned a culminating event for the Fierce After Forty Project – a gallery show to showcase the incredible women who participated. But after applying to several galleries, we had an epiphany inspired by YOU, our fierce community.
“Why wait for someone else’s approval?” we thought. The Fierce After Forty Project is all about embracing your power which means creating a celebration on our own terms!
Drawing on your strength and courage, we embarked on a bold and audacious journey – hosting a fabulous Gala and portrait showcase to celebrate these amazing women and support the work of DOVE, Domestic Violence Ended, of Quincy, MA.
A Night to Remember:
The Fierce After Forty Gala was a resounding success, surpassing our wildest imaginations!
Almost one hundred women gathered together at Granite Links in Quincy, joining a movement that helps women redefine what success, beauty, and self-worth look like for themselves while challenging societal aging norms and inspiring future generations.
Twenty-six portraits of our Fierce After Forty participants sat on display around the gorgeous airy ballroom at Granite Links, celebrating the power, strength, and confidence of the amazing women in this project.
More Than Just a Gala:
The night wasn’t just about celebrating; it was about connection with ourselves, each other, and our community. We shared delicious food, connected with like-minded individuals passionate about women’s empowerment, danced the night away, and supported the work of DOVE.
Our featured speaker, one of our very own clients, shared her inspiring story of overcoming domestic abuse. Her speech moved us to tears and reminded us to believe in our inherent value and worth. Her words highlighted the phenomenal resources DOVE and the impact of her Spark Session on her ability to see herself in a positive light.
Through our live and silent auction and a portion of proceeds from the studio sessions, the Fierce After Forty Project + Gala raised an incredible $3,985 for DOVE, Domestic Violence Ended, of Quincy, MA. This amazing organization works tirelessly to end domestic and partner violence in our community and supports the lives of women and children in need.
The Fierceness Continues:

As a team, we were moved by your participation, presence, and support of this event and the entire Fierce After Forty Project! That evening we began dreaming, planning, and envisioning more ways to create opportunities to celebrate, foster connection, and community outreach within the Show Your Spark Community.
